Michaël Daenen is an experienced physicist, engineer and associate professor of engineering technology. Educated in material physics and translating this into engineering technology. Currently working on reliability of energy systems, more specifically photovoltaic modules and systems.

Dorrit Roosen is research scientist at TNO and leader of the Customized Module Reliability team at Solliance. Main activities of this team are studying the optimal packaging of thin-film laminates and studying failure mechanisms of integrated PV solutions related to their application. These topics require knowledge on the behaviour of thin-film laminates under various combined loads as well as in-depth knowledge of failure modes in the cell material. With this the team tries to link accelerated lab tests to outdoor behavior. The ultimate goal is to optimize the thin-film laminate stack to the intended application, resulting in an optimal solution: a customized module.
